"Swirl" a Noémie Lefort film

I just finished the color correction of a short which one of the singularities is the genre:

It is a mixture of romantic comedy - such as "When Harry Met Sally," "the bridget jones Diary "- and wonderful Disney movies.

This is the first short film of the director - Noemie Lefort - already named by a US staff to achieve two feature films.

This short film is already selected in Cannes.

The story line: the main character is a beautiful young woman - lovingly played by Diane Dassiny - who lives like a princess in the Disney world and will suddenly fall...

The film is in two parts: the Disney part and the daily part.

Regarding the color, I wanted to propose to the director two distinct worlds and assumed as such.

For the Disney world, The picture is very bright and colorful or dazzling, highly saturated up to the beauty of the Disney princesses.

In a 4K shooting is all the wonderful Disney animated designs that are found in this real idealized.

The other fundamental stage sought by the director is this cold shower, brutal as if out of a wonderful dream.

For light daily: heavy sky, desaturated picture low contrast somewhat cooled ... and finally, a touch of hope…
